If you’re looking for a more contemporary set up to your event or occasion, bar stools make a great alternative to chairs. They can be paired with poseur tables or used on their own to give a great seating solution.

What do I need to know about stools for hire?

Bar stools are normally taller than chairs with a seat height normally of 90 cm rather than 60cm. There are various designs out there which have different features to consider. Stools can come with or without a seat back; with or without a swivel and with or without a gas lift pedal.

In our experience of furniture hire, bar stools tend to be used for more informal events. These can range from events with a bar setting to things like networking events and seminars. The nature of a set up of bar stools and poseur tables leans towards people sitting closer together and in a more relaxed manner, which is great for events where the aim is for people to connect and share ideas.

What kinds of bar stools are available from Expo Hire South Wales?

Bar stool hire makes up one of the largest ranges of furniture hire we offer at Expo Hire. Whether it’s classic cube style stools, contemporary gas-lift stools or metal stools for an industrial aesthetic, we have got what you need.

The most frequently hired stools we offer are gas-lift stools. These stools are made in two parts; a seat which is made of a material such as ABS plastic or faux leather, and a chrome metal base. The base contains a gas canister which enables the height of the stool to be changed by moving the lever under the seat. The way the seat attaches to the base also allows for a 360 degree swivel, making these great stools for networking events and mobile bars alike.

Cube stools have fixed legs, which are either made of metal or wood and have four legs in a square footprint. Because these stools do not swivel, they’re much better in a more formal arrangement around a poseur table or similar and are often used for seminars and conferences.

We also have Tolix-style stools for hire. These bar stools are made from metal and are a much more rugged and industrial look, which is an increasingly popular aesthetic for bars and events alike.

How does delivery of stool hire work?

We clean and check all of our stools for hire before we ready them for dispatch. Most stools are not stackable, which is something to bear in mind if you need to store them for any period of time. However, you do not need to be concerned about assembly.

There is no need to be surprised by delivery and collection charges before you check out. Tap the Expo Hire South Wales logo from anywhere on the website to be taken to the homepage where you will find our carriage calculator. Tap the button to take you to the calculator page and enter your postcode to not only find out the cost of delivery and collection to your venue, but also which of our websites is closest to you.
